Morning Plant Walk at Foxfire

Join us for a guided plant identification walk in Southern Appalachia – one of the most botanically diverse regions of the world, led by Cara-Lee Langston of Wildcraft Kitchen. As we meander along the nature trails at Foxfire, participants will be introduced to useful plants and fungi that can be used as food or

medicine. Topics covered include the basics of botanical identification, ethical wildcrafting and stewardship, and culinary and medicinal uses of wild foods and herbs.
