Sold Out! Family Foraging Walk at Foxfire

Calling all adventure kids, parents, grandparents, and relatives! Join us for a foraging tour for all ages at The Foxfire Museum & Heritage Center in Mountain City, GA. We will learn about the safest, family-friendly wild herbs and foods that grow in our area in early spring. You might even recognize some of them from your own backyard! Everyone will have a chance to participate in a foraging scavenger hunt along the way and we will enjoy a refreshing wild lemonade at the end of our tour. 

Cost: $40 per family of 4 ($5 per additional relative)

Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.

Suggested items to bring: Participants should feel comfortable walking up to 1 mile. Please wear closed-toe shoes with socks and long pants/sleeves to protect against poison ivy and insects. Feel free to bring a water bottle, notebook and pen, backpack, brimmed hat, light rain jacket, bug spray, and anything else you may need to feel comfortable outdoors.
