About the Event
Join foraging expert, Cara-Lee Langston, on a wild mushroom foray in the hills of the Terra Incognita Vineyard grounds. Participants will learn the fundamentals of wild mushroom foraging, including what trees and terrain to look for, common edible mushrooms of our region, medicinal uses, safety, foraging etiquette, and more.
After our walk, we head back to the beautiful winery pavilion for a wild mushroom tasting and wine. Non-alcoholic beverage beverages are also available. This experience is perfect for food and nature lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors and want to learn more about safe, sustainable, and ethical foraging practices...and enjoy some delicious local food and wine!
Terra Incognita Vineyard is located at 1821 Vandiver Mtn. Rd., Clarkesville, GA.
