About the Event
There is an abundance of wild food growing all over Rabun County. Come take a walk with local herbalist and forager, Cara-Lee Langston of Wildcraft Kitchen. Learn how you can begin to safely identify wild edibles including flowers, leaves, roots, fruit, and mushrooms.
Our walk takes place at beautiful Timpson Creek Farm which offers meadows, creeksides, hilltops, and wooded areas to explore. Participants will enjoy a refreshing tea and snack prepared with ethically harvested wild ingredients.
Space is limited to 20 participants. Preregistration is required. Participants will meet at the Wander North Georgia store in Downtown Clayton and then carpool/caravan to the farm.This workshop is best suited for adults.
