Upcoming Plant Walks
The Southern Appalachian Mountains are home to an incredible array of plants, both native and naturalized. Join herbalist and wild foods expert, Cara-Lee Langston of Wildcraft Kitchen for a series of six leisurely plant walks in collaboration with Botanologos School of Herbal Studies where you will learn about seasonal herbs and wild foods from April to October. You’ll learn the basics of plant identification, how to ethically collect wild plants, and safely use them as foods and medicines.
All classes are held rain or shine. Class size is limited, masks and social distancing are required as long as CDC guidelines are in effect. Our priority is a safe experience for everyone!
Location: We’ll meet at BotanoLogos School of Herbal Studies in Clayton, GA, and carpool to a local trail from there.
To Register: Use the link below to register. After we receive your registration, we’ll be in touch with plant walk details closer to our walk date. Please be sure to review our Refunds and Cancelation Policy before submitting payment.
