What is Included in a Foraging Tour?
The average private foraging tour lasts 3-4 hours and typically includes:
Edible and medicinal plant/fungi identification instruction from an expert guide
A copy of our beginner's foraging handout given to you on the day of your tour
A light wild foods and beverage tasting prepared by one of our wild foods chef
OR hands-on make-and-take/taste activity
We cater to any special diets and dietary preferences with advanced notice and
can tailor any tour to best suit your age group, interests, and abilities.
In an effort to reduce foot traffic on public land, we offer our local and wild foods tours on several private properties in the Northeast Georgia Mountains including:

Special permits may be required. Additional travel fees apply.
Regular rates for private workshops are $100/hour for up to 4 people ($30 per additional guest).
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to secure your tour date.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Although we are a small business, we will always do our best to give back to our community whenever we can. We encourage you to please reach out about bartering or to request sliding scale rates for your family, school group, or non-profit organization.
